Stuff around here has been hectic as anything... so what else is new? We celebrated our second wedding anniversary this weekend (and sadly also the first anniversary of the passing of David's grandpa). We went to the hotel where we got married, in Box Hill... yes the place where the Olympic cycle race went.... and spent Saturday night there. They have an outdoor pool so we just spent the day lounging, gently frying ourselves and drinking sparkling wine. Bliss. Oliver didn't miss out on a fun day either, he went to the beach with David's family so I was relatively guilt free. Didn't stop us rushing round there at 8am the next morning to pick him up though ;-)

We are preparing for a visit from my family this weekend.... so yay for the maiden voyage of the new sofa bed! (Please keep your smutty thoughts to yourself, it's my parents we're talking about!) We're hoping to cram a BBQ and a beach visit into the weekend if the weather permits so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
Finally, an Oliver update - not only is he now commando crawling at the speed of light (me, exaggerate? Never!) but he has also discovered pulling up onto the furniture (and just about anything else he can reach). Consequently we have had a few minor injuries, mostly to the noggin! The first one that really looked like anything was this one and my mummy guilt was unimaginable!
